Aldi slashes price of Cadbury Creme Eggs to just 33p each – you have to be fast

If you're sticking to a strict diet in January, you'll be seriously tempted by the latest deal at Aldi.

The supermarket giant is offering a very irresistible offer on Cadbury Creme Eggs three months before Easter.

As part of Aldi's Specialbuys, the chocolate treats arrive in stores from today.

Cadbury Creme Eggs are filled with white and yellow fondant which are loved by the nation.

If you're counting calories, one 40g egg contains a whopping 117 kcal – but don't feel too guilty because they taste great.

A single Creme Egg normally costs between 50-60p from Tesco and Morrisons, so you'll be saving quite a fortune at Aldi.

  • Terry’s Chocolate Orange with popping candy now selling months before Easter

You can typically save on the eggs if you want to buy them in a box of 12 for £3.95 or five for £1.65 at Tesco or Ocado.

But the price of both boxes work out at 33p which are the same price as Aldi's.

The deal goes on sale today but you can only pick up the eggs in store so you'll have to head to your local.

And because it's under the Specialbuys promotion, that means once they're gone, they're gone.
