All the VMAs winners of 2019: A complete list

The Moon Man — or “Moon Person,” rather, updated for today’s PC times — has landed.

The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards — hosted by veteran comedian Sebastian Maniscalco — launched at 8 p.m. Monday with Taylor Swift, 29, serving as its superstar opening act at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

But the “Maniscalco of the hour” is well aware that he’s not on the household name level of previous hosts Kevin Hart, Katy Perry, Chris Rock and Miley Cyrus. (The latter, by the way, will be cranking the first-ever live performance of her new breakup anthem, “Slide Away,” during tonight’s telecast.)

“As soon as they announce the VMAs, three million teenagers are going to search ‘Who the hell is Sebastian Maniscalco?’ ” the proudly Italian-American funny guy, 46, quipped in his pre-show hype clip.

Something tells us his 21 years of handling hecklers on the infamously finicky stand-up circuit has given our dude everything he needs to wrangle this crew of pop culture heavyweights.

Early show-stoppers on the red carpet: Swift in a multi-colored beaded blazer with thigh-boots and Lizzo, 31, in a strapless blood-red sequined gown emblazoned with the word “SIREN.” Maniscalco also cut a dashing figure in his tailored monochromatic turquoise suit.

Talk about a buzzkill — the first two winners were no shows. Congrats, anyways, Billie Eilish and BTS on your wins for “push artist” and “best K-pop,” respectively. Thankfully, Megan Thee Stallion eased the disappointment a bit by showing up to serenade the outdoor crowd with the first fierce performance of the night.

Finally, showtime: After a quickie run-through of “You Need to Calm Down” — on a candy-colored set that could’ve been designed by Lisa Frank — a deep purple-clad Swift grabbed her guitar and rode the seductive thump of her new hit “Lover.”

The arena crowd waved its uplifted arms in unison. Queen Latifah, Camila Cabello and DJ Khaled were all spotted bopping their heads. She’s back, folks. Now, on with the show …
