Cleaner’s £5 stain remover hack gets kitchen floors sparkling in minutes

Stain removers help us to get pesky marks out of our clothes.

And apparently, they can be used on floors too.

On Facebook, a cleaner revealed the products can work wonders on tiles and grout too.

She used Vanish Gold, which is called Napisan in her native Australia.

The £5 remover was surprisingly effective – and it transformed the colour of the floor.

In the Mums Who Cook, Clean and Organise group, the professional explained how she achieved such dramatic results.

She wrote: “These are results I got using Napisan gold at a client's house.

“(Use) mop bucket water (and a) couple scoops Napisan. Leave for few minutes.

“Scrub with grout scrubber… just be careful as obviously floors are extremely slippery when doing.

“I did a whole section at a time but you could do less to minimise risk.”

The post racked up dozens of likes – and many said they’d be trying the cleaning hack.

One commenter gushed: “Wow will let my daughter know next time she does a bond clean, she was told the best thing was the toilet cleaner, cheap yes and it worked but was hard graft for several days, this is amazing.”

And another simply said: “Wow.”

If you are to try the tip, we’d recommend following the cleaner’s words of warning.

She advises you to do a patch test with the product before covering your floor.

This way, you can see how it will react with your tiles.

If you don't get the results you want on this small area, then you can refrain for spreading the Vanish Gold anywhere else.
