Until now, anyone not lucky enough to be at Oxford Street for the mother of all Australian pride marches had to wait a whole 24 hours to watch the coverage. Not any more. SBS are at last broadcasting the event live, with the SBS OnDemand live stream available to viewers around the world. Looking as sharp as his tongue, Joel Creasey hosts, alongside Courtney Act, Zoe Coombs Marr and Studio 10’s Narelda Jacobs. There’s promise of an appearance by Ke$ha.

Jacob Tremblay, the child actor who reduced us to tears in the movie Room, does so again playing a boy with Treacher Collins syndrome in this adaptation of R. J. Palacio’s bestselling novel. Aside from the contentious prosthetics, this is a sensitively told story with a positive message about difference. The cast includes Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Mandy Patinkin.
