- Other royals names such as William, Albert and Alice appear on the list
Harry is the most popular boys name chosen by parents for spring 2018 according to the latest baby names survey.
And while Daisy takes the top spot for girls, Meghan has also appeared in the top 20 taking the 15th place on the list with the impending royal wedding appearing to have an influence.

For girls, it seems that there is a definite floral trend again for the second year running as 56 per cent of parents selected flower-inspired names for their daughters with second and third place going to Lily and Iris respectively.
Other names making the top 20 include Primrose, Fleur, Bluebell and Poppy.
Royal-favoured baby names such as Alice, Charlotte, Arthur, William and Albert have also made the top 10 most popular girls and boys’ names for this season as royal baby fever has also swept the nation in recent weeks.

The new 2018 spring baby names poll quizzed more than 1,200 parents from across the UK on their chosen baby name this season.
Faye Mingo, Marketing Director at Emma’s Diary commented: ‘Once again the results from our spring poll show that for girls, the seasonal floral theme is still popular with parents with a scattering of royal favoured names too.
‘Harry remains ever-popular with parents too particularly in light of the upcoming royal wedding, interestingly last spring, Harry didn’t make the top 10 list, yet in January this year Harry was the number one most popular name prediction for 2018.’
It is believed that those born in the spring are more likely to be creative, become a leader or have a hyperthymic temperament, a characteristic often associated with being overly positive.
