DEAR DEIDRE: LIKE all the women on my mum’s side of the family, I have enormous breasts – and I hate them.
They make me feel like a blow-up doll, and men and boys always stare at them instead of my face, when they talk to me.
Sometimes, they shout rude comments at me in the street.
I’m only 16 and desperately want a breast reduction.
My bras always leave red marks on my shoulders, and I don’t want to end up with backache like my mum.
But the doctors I’ve spoken to have said I have to stop growing before I could be considered for breast reduction surgery.

DEIDRE SAYS: Breasts generally stop growing at around 18, so it’s wise to wait before you take action.
Be aware that reduction surgery has risks and side-effects, and may make breast-feeding difficult in the future.
