Irina Shayk has spoken out about her split from Bradley Cooper for the first time, in a rare candid interview.
Shayk, who appears on the cover of British Vogue's March issue, told the magazine that so far, her life since their split has been reflective: "I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being. Two great people don’t have to make a good couple."
"I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other," she said. "Life without B is new ground."
Shayk also discussed co-parenting their daughter, Lea, and told British Vogue, "It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, 'Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.'"
The model split from Cooper last June, and the two have shared custody of their daughter. A source previously told People that post-split, Shayk's number one priority is her daughter, and that Cooper is on the same page.
"It’s clear that Bradley and Irina have the same goals for their daughter," the source said at the time. "They want her to live a normal life, be surrounded by friends and thrive through play. They are both wonderful parents."
