Hundreds of people are flocking to the Pittsburgh park Mac Miller named his 2011 debut album after to mourn and remember the rapper, who was found dead in his Los Angeles home Friday. He was 26.
Nightfall Records, a recording label based in Miller’s hometown, is hosting a public vigil at Frick Park, which is also known as Blue Slide Park.
“We would like to bring the city together in full force for this legendary icon,” the label announced on Facebook. “Mac deserves to be sent off with an evening of celebrating his life, discussing his struggles, and remembering his stories; most importantly for his iconic work that brought joy into the lives of everybody who listened.”
