Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie is getting a little playmate come January.
Lindsay Roth, one of Meghan’s best friends from her days at Northwestern University, revealed on Instagram this week that she is pregnant with her second child.
The 37-year-old TV producer married Englishman Gavin Jordan in 2016, with Meghan, 38, serving as maid of honor — so baby Archie and Lindsay’s upcoming arrival are sure to have some playdates in their future.

Fast friends: The little bundle of joy is sure to be a playmate for Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby Archie, who was born on May 6
Lindsay isn’t particularly active on Instagram, but on Tuesday she shared a photo from the Babor Signature Spa at The Dominick in New York City.
‘The most relaxing 80 minutes all summer happened today for this working-hard #preggo mama,’ she wrote.
The news appears to have come as a surprise to many of her followers, though an online registry page indicates that she is likely about four months along.
Lindsay and Gavin already have one child, a 20-month-old son.
It also seems that they split their time between New York City and London, meaning Meghan’s son Archie, who was born on May 6, will have plenty of opportunity to meet the new arrival next year.
Meghan and Lindsay have been friends since they met in a Toni Morrison literature class during their freshman year at Northwestern, from which they graduated in 2003.
They remained close as Meghan went on to peruse acting, eventually earning her high-profile role on Suits.
Lindsay also acted for a bit, appearing as an extra in Mona Lisa Smile alongside Julia Roberts and Kirsten Dunst, and Raise Your Voice, with Hilary Duff.
She has since gone on to work as a producer for Larry King Now, The Real Girl’s Kitchen, and Queen Boss.
All the while, the two were in each other’s lives. Though Meghan has deleted her personal Instagram account, Lindsay still has several photos of the star up and tagged on her page.
When Lindsay said ‘I do,’ Meghan was there as the maid of honor, evening planning a trip to Toronto for Lindsay to have a fitting at Kleinfeld’s — for which one of Meghan’s other best friends, Jessica Mulroney, works.

Lindsay was there for Meghan’s nuptials, too, and was even speculated to be a possibility for Archie’s godmother, particularly after she was included as one of just a few lucky guests who attended the royal’s lavish New York City baby shower in February.
The pair most recently attended Wimbledon together on July 4.
And speaking to People in 2017, Lindsay said Meghan’s still the same girl she’s always known.
‘I don’t know many people who are as generous and supportive as Meg is,’ she said. ‘I think people assume that when someone gains notoriety that they change. But she’s still the same girl I met years ago, with the same values and priorities. She’s selfless, and that’s just a part of who she is and who she was raised to be.
‘We’re the kind of friends who can be 3,000 miles away and still be talking about or thinking the same thing, and even texting each other the same thing at the same time miles away,’ she added.
‘Meg has especially developed into an extraordinary businesswoman, actress, writer and advocate for women and children.

‘I don’t know many people who are as generous and supportive as Meg is,’ Lindsay said of her friend in 2017
‘While the public sees Meg as a strong advocate for women and girls, she is one behind the scenes too — she’s that friend who staunchly supports her friends’ dreams, is present even when she’s physically not present because she’s in Toronto filming, gives you her honest opinion even if it differs from yours and has the most kind heart.
‘I have years worth of hand-written notes and cards that Meg has sent to me in the best of times, while I was going through hard times and also fun, saying hello, missing-you, motivational go-for-your-dreams cards.
‘There’s a motto that Meg and I have consistently come back to throughout the years: “I choose happiness.”
‘It’s a constant reminder to be self-aware, be uniquely you, be happy and to treat people with respect; to be kind, empathetic and to really learn from those around you in any circumstance. Meg does that.’
