Congratulations are in order for Mollie King and her fiancé Stuart Broad after the pair announced that they have welcomed their first child together.
Having revealed that they were expecting a baby girl back in June, the couple have now shared the exciting news that they have become parents to little Annabella Broad and that they “have never been so in love”.
Sharing a sweet snap of herself giving Annabella a kiss, 35 year old Mollie wrote: “Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We have never been so in love [red heart emoji]”.
As the pair continue adjust to life as a family-of-three, Mollie has been documenting the process of turning their lavish London pad into the ideal family home and has given her followers a glimpse inside their nursery.
Mollie previously revealed that the room she and 36 year old Stuart have decided to transform is their study, which was previously used as a guest room.
"So, this is the room that will become our nursery! It’s had a few facelifts over the years. We’re currently using it as a study but swipe across to see how we previously had it as a guest room," she captioned an Instagram Story which featured two photos of the space.
The room previously featured dark wooden flooring and light green walls, with brown furniture and paintings hung on the wall.
However, the space has been given a more neutral makeover, with Mollie painting the panelled walls a series of nude and white tones.
Sharing snaps of three different paint samples on the wall, she excitedly wrote: "The first few paint colours are on the wall".
But despite opting for a neutral theme, the former The Saturdays singer joked that things hadn’t been straight forward and that she’d worked her way through nine samples of paint.
"I’ve truly loved coming up with ideas for our little girl’s nursery! I’m not going to lie, when I got to the 9th paint sample I did wonder whether @stuartbroad might start regretting the marriage proposal but hey, I’m pretty sure he knows what he’s in for,” she wrote.
The Radio 1 DJ also explained that she planned on keeping things minimal in order for her and Stuart to add various toys and pictures around the room, giving it a more personal feel.
“We’re going for a neutral wall colour and adding little personal touches with pictures, toys and accessories. I still can’t quite believe it’s a room for our little baby girl,” she wrote.
“It really has been so much fun deciding how we want it to look, although I’m sure Stuart will be glad to never see another paint sample again.”
Mollie and Stuart’s happy baby news comes after Mollie shared unseen snaps from her gender reveal party as she revealed her first day of maternity leave has been blighted with illness earlier this month.
Despite taking time to step-back before Annabella arrived, Mollie joked that her body “didn’t get the memo” after she was struck down with a virus.
She wrote: “So, maternity leave!!! Well, day one of it and I got taken down by a virus. Of course I did! …My body clearly didn’t get the memo about having a bit of downtime before the baby arrives!!”
