Mum gets Greggs logo tattooed on her bum after missing sausage rolls in lockdown

A Greggs-lover who missed the iconic bakery so much during the coronavirus lockdown has tattooed the logo on her bum.

Caitlin Jones, 20, from Paisley in Scotland, was devastated after the pandemic forced her local branch to shut.

The sausage roll addict finally tucked into her favourite baked goods when the stores re-opened.

And, she decided to commemorate the occasion with a branded tattoo on her butt.

Talk about a cheeky Greggs…

The mum-of-one went to her local tattoo parlour as soon as she could.

What did you miss the most during lockdown? Greggs, Nando's, something else? Let us know in the comments section…

So on September 14 Caitlin had the yellow and blue logo inked on her bum.

The mum said: “I'm obsessed with Greggs and I've always loved their sausage rolls.

“Before lockdown I used to get one nearly every day so I was absolutely gutted when they closed.

“I was more bothered about Greggs reopening than the pubs so I decided when the tattoo parlours re-opened that I was going to get something to share my love for them.”

She added: “Most people love it and think it's hilarious, the tattoo artist said to me he was buzzing to do it and other people have said it's iconic and that I'm a legend.”

Despite her pals loving her new body art, Caitlin has been targeted by trolls.

She explained: “Some people have said it's embarrassing but I got over that pretty quickly and I'm still in love with it.”

Caitlin paid £100 for the three-inch tattoo.

It took an hour and a half to complete.

Caitlin, who has an 11-month-old son called Brody, posted a snap to Facebook which racked up 3,000 likes and 1,800 shares.

She said: “I did have some doubts when I was going to get it and I toyed with the idea of getting a sausage roll on the other side too but I think I'll wait until the dust settles on this one first.”

Now that’s dedication.
