New Prime drink by KSI and Logan Paul coming to the UK – but there's a catch | The Sun

FANS have been rushing to get their hands on the viral Prime Energy drink – but a new one is coming.

The new drink, founded by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul, will be landing in the UK, but not without a catch.

A new version of the popular Prime Hydration drink is coming to the UK after the last version sold out in both Aldi and Asda stores.

This time it contains 10 calories, zero sugar and 300mg of electrolytes, available in five flavours.

But the catch is you'll only be able to buy it if you're aged 18 or over.

The latest £1.99 viral drink had shoppers queuing for hours to nab the drinks containing mostly water added with vitamins and minerals, with few calories and no added sugar.

It was also made up of coconut water but did not have any caffeine in it.

However, the 18+ restriction on the upcoming product is based off the fact it contains 200mg of caffeine.

The new flavours will be Blue Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, Strawberry Watermelon, and Orange Mango.

The brand has confirmed the drink, which is currently out in the US, will be reaching the UK in April – but it's not yet clear how much it will be.

Fans are excited, with one posting to Instagram: "Looks insane."

Another put: "Big year coming up."

And one more said: "Can’t wait to try it."

The drink's popularity grew after YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI promoted the drink around high-profile celebrity boxing bouts in the UK.

The duo came up with the idea for coconut water-based Prime Hydration after their final boxing match in 2019.

During a live stream, the pair said they wanted to "rival the biggest companies on earth" with their products – including "Pepsi, Coke, Gatorade and Powerade".

The most recent batch of drinks were selling in 11 flavours – including blue raspberry, tropical punch and grape.

The YouTubers claimed that their biggest goals for their collaborative drink were taste and hydration.

According to Logan Paul, 50,000 bottles were sold out within five minutes of being launched online.
