Written in the stars: Astrologer reveals what this weekend’s solar eclipse means for YOU – and you might be in for an emotional few days
- Australian intuitive astrologer, Rose Smith, talks about Saturday’s solar eclipse
- She says the celestial event will end a period of emotional turbulence for all
- She also predicts it will mark a period of happiness for many Australians
The solar eclipse which will occur from 4.30pm, Sydney-time, is set to ‘close the door’ on feelings of emotional turbulence, psychic Rose Smith revealed
An Australian astrologer has signaled good times could be on their way following a solar eclipse on Saturday afternoon.
The solar eclipse which will occur from 4.30pm AEDT time, is set to ‘close the door’ on feelings of emotional turbulence, psychic Rose Smith revealed to FEMAIL.
These difficult feelings many have been experienced quite deeply since last month’s beaver full moon and corresponding lunar eclipse.
The lunar eclipse was the first of its kind in almost 600 years – and the energy powerful, emotional and transformative, according to the intuitive astrologer.
This is the final solar eclipse of 2021 and ushers in emotional release, new beginnings and a certain clarity about our new direction in life.
‘It’s a time for new direction, new beginnings and a new cycle moving forward – look to the future,’ Ms Smith said.
The solar eclipse will be visible from 4.30pm on the Australian east coast – it’s peak will come at sunset
‘Eclipses work in pairs, and with a lunar and solar eclipse occurring so close together, we should also be mindful of the emotional and physical effects we may be experiencing from the celestial combination.’
‘A lunar and solar eclipse are as powerful as each other, a spiritual process has started but isn’t complete until sometime after this solar eclipse.’
‘We should think about this event spiritually as a ‘process’ lunar eclipses are about integrating experiences and the focus is internal – while solar eclipses are about taking action and the focus is external. You make the inner changes first then release these experiences physically.’
Ms Smith, who also runs the largest psychic network in the southern hemisphere, Absolute Soul Secrets, said the solar eclipse was occurring in Sagittarius season, a mutable fire sign.
‘Transformation is bound to happen with regard to freedom, expansion and broadening your horizons generally,’ Ms Smith said.
What are some tips for getting through the solar eclipse?
Ms Smith has these tips for people during the eclipse period:
• Meditate: be mindful of what you are feeling, feelings are every bit as valid as thoughts.
• Have quiet time: think about things you want to accomplish physically, with your health and wellbeing, in the workplace, or in relationships.
• Record your feelings in a diary or journal: particularly if you don’t feel like you can talk to someone trusted about your emotions.
• Try not to look back at the past or into the future: not being present in your body or with your feelings is a problem. Be truly present and at home in your body now.
Only the first part of the eclipse will be visible from south-eastern parts of Australia because here the sun will set before the eclipse will reach its maximum phase. It will start at roughly 4.30pm AEST.
‘You may consider travel or big plans. In some way, life will change for the better as you become wiser from personal direct experience. Foreign connections are also indicated or perhaps study will be on your agenda?’
‘Motivation and inspiration pave the way for deep inner healing and release. Your life becomes more expansive, and growth becomes normal.’
The first three weeks in December make up most of Sagittarius season, which Ms Smith said was making people feel more happy-go-lucky, positive and spontaneous.
‘We can expect sudden and major emotional shifts and exciting new adventures. Spiritually, you are expanding and you will need broader vistas,’ she said.
‘Sagittarius is generous, fun-loving, lucky, expansive, likes travel, exploration and adventure – with a solar eclipse there are always new beginnings in the outside world and energies are amplified.’
‘When the moon is dark – a new beginning is imminent, bringing darkness into the light. As the crescent gets bigger and bigger, more light works through cycle.’
The past few weeks could have been especially difficult for Sagittarius and other mutable signs Gemini, Virgo and Pisces and they will also be more effected by the solar eclipse and should ‘keep a handle on emotions’.
‘People should be starting to feel better, and our minds and emotions should be clearer so we can start to realise the direction we need to go in to move forward,’ she said.
‘Whether that’s ending a relationship, focusing on work or business after a confrontation, planning for next year – taking action will help.’
Physical reactions to the recent cycle could have included feeling irritable, angry, argumentative, volatile, upset, unmotivated, exhausted, lethargic – even bloated.
These should be alleviated on Saturday.
The eclipse will be visible from 4.30pm and be reaching it’s maximum point at sunset – however the whole eclipse won’t be visible in Australia.
How might have the November 19 full moon and partial eclipse impacted me?
Aries (March 21 to April 19):
The lunar eclipse in Taurus can have far reaching effects on your money, possessions and value systems. It’s not the time to take risks now and it’s even more important that you be financially responsible. Take steps to secure your valuables and your money. Also, the things you value might change, and your priorities move away from material things to things like honesty and integrity.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20):
This lunar eclipse is all about you dear Taurus. It will give your core belief systems and identity quite a shakeup. Situations in your life that are ‘meh or blah’, won’t survive the tsunami of a beaver moon lunar eclipse. Beavers build dams and redirect water flow. You might find shaky structures in your life toppling so new more suitable structures can be built. A flood of new energy can enter your life now and you may change your clothes, hair or makeup to suit your newfound beliefs.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20):
It could be an emotional time for you as your beaver moon is in the house of the unconscious. Weirdness can reign supreme and perhaps you don’t know why you feel emotional or overwhelmed. Watch your dreams and little Freudian slips that come out of your mouth for clues. Soon all will be revealed but, in the meantime, have plenty of time alone and retire to a quiet place for some R&R.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22):
There could be a shakeup or turbulence with groups, friends or clubs. Something might be going on in your community that upsets the apple cart. It’s possible you may not find out straight away but come early December, you’ll probably work it out. You can change direction of your hopes and dreams now and reworking these will stand you in good stead. All will be fine; I see a bright future.
Leo (July 23 to August 22):
You normally work well with the public; however, your instincts tell you it’s time to get the balance between your public work and your personal life. It’s a constant juggling act. Yes, providing and caring for others is important and you need to look after yourself as well. Now there’s a shakeup in your career and it’s a good time to ensure that you’re doing something that makes your heart sing.
Virgo (August 23 to September 22):
Vivacious Virgo travel could be on your mind now. You could be feeling bored or out of sorts so it’s time to broaden your mind. Travel, study or spirituality are all possibilities you might like to pursue. Soon you’ll come to a decision about moving forward to expand your horizons. You’re capable of much more and need new experiences with people from vastly different backgrounds.
Libra (September 23 to October 22):
Your intimacy zone and shared resources are affected by this lunar eclipse. Although you greatly desire intimacy and closeness with another, you can also put up a brick wall to keep that person out. Maybe you’re afraid of being hurt again? Trust has to be earned according to you, but this beaver moon will uncover a few chinks in your emotional armour – it’s for the best. Resources you share with others such as loans or taxes, may also bring a few issues to a head.
Scorpio (October 23 to November 21):
Your feelings are intense, and you could find yourself depending on other people for support. Your important relationships both personal and business could be more emotional than usual or something with your mother may come up over the next several weeks. Not to worry, move forward and be independent, it’s time to strike out on your own now so you can find happiness and security.
Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21):
Savvy Sag – there’s a shakeup in your daily routine including your work or health. This beaver moon eclipse wants you to think about working from home or getting more privacy in your day-to-day life. Your daily life needs tweaking so you’re not at cross purposes with want your heart desires. Soon there will be opportunities to make a physical change so you can be more in alignment with yourself.
Capricorn (December 22nd to January 19):
Your inner child might be upset about something so it’s time to express your emotions in a healthy way rather than acting out or building a mountain from a molehill. Give your inner child a chance to play – go out, socialise and enjoy yourself. It’s also a fine time for romance or creativity, so give these parts of yourself a chance to be expressed. Any turbulence is pushing you onto the right path.
Aquarius (January 20th to February 18):
This eclipse brings back the past concerning home or family. You may remember things from your childhood or hear news of someone you once knew a long time ago. Some belief systems or habits you learned when young are no longer valid, so it’s time to divest yourself of these. There’s changes around your home and family now, so go with the flow and let the past go. Your mother could be on your mind now.
Pisces (February 19 to March 20):
Your communications might be confused or misunderstood now. Try to stay grounded in practical REALity and tone down any turbulent emotions you might be feeling. It’s not a good time now for promotion, marketing or study as emotions could get in the way or you get ‘the wrong end of the stick’. There could be contact with distant family or something in your local area is a bit of a nuisance. It’s ok, all will be fine in the end.
