Tesco expands ‘invaluable’ food range with more products – here’s what you can get

Tesco has announced changes to the food on offer in its Free From range. New products will be available in selected stores across the UK.

Tesco has own-brand products available for a range of dietary requirements.

This includes the plant based ranges Tesco Plant Chef and Wicked.

It also stocks the Tesco Free From range which caters for those who have allergies of the likes of gluten, wheat and dairy.

Sharing the news on Twitter, the retailer explained more items would be added to the range.

A post said: “We think you should have the freedom to enjoy the food you love.

“That’s why we’ve added lots of new products to our Free From range.

“Find out what all the fuss is about in-store or online.”

It added the items can be picked up at selected large stores and online while stocks last.

What has been added?

More than 20 additional Free From products have been added to the range.

This includes sweet treats such as oaty bakes, cakes, bagels, baking kits and flapjacks.

Cheese twists, flatbreads, breadcrumbs and more sauces have also been included.

Ready meals including beef pie, chicken and gravy pie and cheese and onion quiche have also been added.

After sharing the update on social media, shoppers were quick to praise the new additions.

One penned: “As someone with food intolerances, this range has been invaluable to me. Thanks, Tesco.”

Another showed their appreciation as they simply stated: “I love you Tesco.”

One more shared their excitement at flapjacks being added to the range.

Like many supermarkets, Tesco will regularly update the products on offer.

It will do this by introducing more foods to suit different dietary requirements.

As well as affordable ranges, it will often run promotions to give shoppers the best deals on various items.
