A real-life Barbie beach house in Southern California is an Instagrammer’s paradise, with a funky neon living room, a princess-pink bedroom, and a picture-perfect backyard pool.

And Instagrammers can, in fact, rent the Santa Monica home for their social media needs at the staggering price of $570 per hour — with a ten-hour $5,700 minimum.

While the six-bedroom, six-bathroom home has a pool, a basketball court, and a patio, it’s marketed as more of a photoshoot spot than an overnight accommodation.

Flower appliques with a ’60s flower child feel adorn the ceiling and walls, while the colorful furniture appears ripped from another era.

Embracing the beach locale, there are also colorful surfboards hung around the house as decoration.

One lounge room has floor cushions for seating and psychedelic artwork around the room, with a giant peace sign on one wall.

Among the bedrooms is one done up entirely in a princess pink, with flowers hanging from the ceiling, pink flowers and throw pillows, and — interestingly enough — a stripper pole.

There are patios on the upper and lower level, with one baring a sign that reads: ‘Ken’s lounge.’ 

The kitchen, meanwhile, has a cute mid-century feel with yellow walls, colorful cabinets, and vintage artwork. 

The house comes with a swimming pool and hot tub, a basketball court, a bar, and plenty more Barbie-inspired decor.

It also overlooks the Santa Monica beach, famous for its amusement park pier close to Los Angeles and frequented by A-list celebs from Sean Penn to Gwyneth Paltrow to Jack Black.

The property is listed on Giggster and is available to rent for $570 (£455) per hour, as it is intended to be used as a filming set to host up to sixty crew, as well being available to rent as a photoshoot set.
