A favourite with dermatologists, CeraVe has been around for 15 years, but has been going viral after TikTokers shared their amazement when the brand’s best-selling cleanser appeared to improve their acne.
The most shocking transformation of them all is beauty fan @annamarmen’s, who suffered from cystic acne for ten years before she discovered the bargain cleanser.

The beauty fan later shared her skincare routine with fans, which consisted of CeraVe Moisturising Cream, £13 here, and the TikTok-approved cleanser.
Last year fans were disappointed to find the calming cleanser often out of stock, after skincare specialist Hyram raved about the brand for its affordability and kind-to-skin formulas.
The YouTube sensation swears by the popular cleanser, and TikTok fans are blaming him for the lack of stock.
“Everything he recommends is sold out everywhere,” one fan commented on Hyram’s TikTok.
“CeraVe NEED to pay this man,” another said.
This hydrating cleanser is an excellent choice for reducing inflammation and soothing the skin, but Hyram also loves CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, £9.50 here and CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser, £12 here.
The foaming version is great for anyone with normal to oily skin, while the smoothing cleanser contains salicylic acid to exfoliate the skin and help fight breakouts.
