What's on the Costa Coffee autumn menu and how long are the bonfire spiced drinks available for?

COSTA Coffee has launched its new autumn menu, and with it comes an unusual new flavour.

The menu, which landed in stores on September 6, includes a range of bonfire spiced drinks.

What's the bonfire range?

The bonfire range is the Costa Coffee's autumn range.

We're used to seeing festive-themed drinks popping up around Christmas, but it seems Costa has gone one season further.

The new range includes a bonfire spiced latte, hot chocolate and even a cold brew which comes topped with whipped milk.

According to Costa, it's a combination of rich caramel toffee and toasted spices including cinnamon, cardamom and ginger.

Announcing the range on their website, Costa introduced the "new family".

They said: "Introducing our Bonfire Spiced Family – Delicious notes of rich caramel toffee with smoky, toasted spices topped with crunchy caramel vermicelli.

"Available as a Primo sized Latte, Hot Chocolate or Cold Brew Coffee."

The three new smoky drinks are supposed to give that cosy feeling of a night in front of a bonfire.

How much does it cost?

The bonfire flavoured drinks start from £2.95.

This is slightly more expensive than Costa's standard coffees.

They usually start at £2.15 for a latte and £2.40 for a hot chocolate.

How long will it be available for?

There's no word yet on how long the coffees will be around for.

However, it's likely they may have to make room for the winter menu which is just around the corner.

We'd try them while you can.

What else is new?

Costa is adding 10 new snacks to the menu this season.

There are also some new autumnal themed desserts to go alongside the drinks, including a vegan sticky toffee and pecan cookie for £1.85.

For chocolate lovers there’s a "seriously" chocolate cake, which starts from £2.55 (the price depends on whether you eat-in or takeaway), and is made up of chocolate sponge, salted caramel and chocolate fudge icing.

And more savoury food will be added to the menu.
