A woman with massive earlobes – who has lost count of how many tattoos she has – looks unrecognisable in old photos.
Bianca Ferro was bullied in school but has undergone a spectacular transformation in recent years.
The body modification addict is easy to spot because she is striving to have the biggest stretched earlobes in the world.
She has now shared photos showing what she used to look like before making extreme alterations to her body.
The 26-year-old wrote on Instagram: “10-year challenge. What a time to be alive.”
In one shot she has her face, neck and chest covered in tattoos while her earlobes are stretched to 86 millimetres long.
In the old snaps, she is without ink and her earlobes are half the size.
Commenting on the extreme transformation, one fan wrote: “The before and after show how excellent body art choices can be transformational. Absolutely beautiful.”
Another said: “Literally so beautiful then and now!! iconic as all hell too.”
Bianca, from New Jersey, also shared a similar transformation post.
Afterwards a commenter responded: “It's still so weird seeing heavily tattooed/modded people without them. I think the same about myself looking back at old pictures.”
And speaking to Daily Star, Bianca revealed that her transformation is far from complete.
She said: “I want to be extremely covered in ink. I want almost every part of my body to be heavily tattooed.
“I wouldn't say 100% because there are some spots I know I'm too chicken to get done, like the soles of my feet, my eyelids and inner thighs. But I definitely want more tattoos than blank skin for sure.”
Even though she is trolled daily for her appearance, the body modification fan has the backing of her loved ones.
“I am so extremely lucky to have the support of my parents,” she said.
“Since I started tattooing I have met a shocking amount of people that have said their parents disowned them for getting tattooed, or their mom won't talk to them anymore if they keep getting tattoos.
She continued: “I can't imagine losing such a special relationship because of something as trivial as how I look or what I choose to do with my body.
“I feel the support of my parents every day in everything I do. They love me for who I am. A lot of people on the internet make comments about my parents, saying I'm an example of bad parenting or that my parents must be so disappointed in me.
“I hate that people think that way. I am an example of loving, supportive parents who stand by me no matter what I do – and I think they're actually pretty proud of me.”
The tattoo artist – who said others assume she's jobless and smelly – has been stretching her ears for years but now wants to make history.
The current world record for the biggest earlobes is 105 millimetres.
“I have reached a few goal sizes in the past and wasn't quite sure what to do with myself when I thought my stretching journey was over,” she said.
“I think they are just so beautiful, and I am very proud of the time and patience it takes to continue making them bigger.”
And she added: “I like looking unnatural because it's just plain fun.
“We live in a world where you can be anything or anyone you want, so why be just like everyone else?”
