‘Congratulations girl, it’s huge’: Excited woman mistakenly sends a VERY rude engagement ring photograph to her friends – and horrified parents
- A newly engaged woman, from the US, sent a ‘live photo’ of her engagement ring
- But what she didn’t know was she had captured her fiance showing his penis
- Without realising, the pair accidentally sent out the picture to family and friends
- One eagle-eyed friend saw the funny side, replying: ‘Congrats girl. It’s huge!’
Proudly flaunting an engagement ring to the camera, one excited woman couldn’t wait to show everyone the new bling on her finger.
But the woman, from Los Angeles, California, unknowingly captured a ‘Live Photo’ instead of a still picture – an iPhone feature that takes a three-second moving image.
Admiring her ring, the newly engaged woman was in the middle of snapping the photograph in the bedroom when her fiance decided to pull down his boxers and show his penis to the camera.
Without realising he’d ruined the Kodak moment, the couple accidentally sent out the engagement announcement with the explicit scene in the background to their horrified friends and family.

What’s a Live Photo?
Live Photos records what happens 1.5 seconds before and after you take a picture on the iPhone. What you get is more than a photo: a moment captured with movement and sound.
You take a Live Photo just like you do a traditional photo.
One eagle-eyed friend saw the funny side of the unfortunate photo mishap, replying to the message with: ‘Congrats girl. It’s huge!’
Taking to Twitter, the man shared the video with the caption: ‘Waiting for my friend to realise she sent us all a Live Photo…’, adding a popcorn emoji.
The footage has since been viewed more than 5.7 million times, with many people chiming in on the awkward and somewhat hilarious photobomb.
One chimed in: ‘Lol a friend of mine knows the girl who did this … she sent it to her entire family. Imagine the horror.’
‘I still don’t even know what the ring looks like,’ one commented.

‘I have been repeating it to see the ring but every time I get distracted,’ one wrote.
Another tweeted: ‘Respectfully, this is why you always stay for the credits.’
One posted: ‘Now I feel like I need to go check every single one of my Live Photo.’
‘You’re not wrong, that finger is pretty big,’ another said.
Another wrote: ‘Maybe it wasn’t accident. Maybe she just want to show you all big things that she has.’
And another said: ‘And that’s why you never use Live Photo.’
