Fellow DJ Calvin Harris says Avicii was “a beautiful soul, passionate and extremely talented with so much more to do.”

Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, David Guetta, deadmau5, Zedd, Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Cash Cash and Pauly D were among the first to express their condolences for their fellow DJ on social media. Artists including Liam Payne, Charlie Puth, Adam Lambert, Marshmello and Dua Lipa followed suit.
Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, was best known for making a mark on the EDM scene with hits like "Levels," "Hey Brother" and "Wake Me Up."
