Dani Dyer has reportedly said she is going to "stand by" her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence after he pleaded guilty to scamming two elderly men out of £34,000.
The 24-year-old former reality TV star, who won Love Island in 2018 with her then-boyfriend Jack Fincham, is standing by her partner Sammy after he admitted to crimes at Portsmouth Crown Court today.
Sammy confessed to pretending to be an authorised financial investor after scamming two pensioners out of £34K in total.
It is not suggested that Dani knew about the scamming or was involved and she has not yet commented however a source allegedly told The Sun they are still together.
The source told the publication: "She's vowed to stand by him, he's the father of her baby."
Today in court it was heard how Sammy tricked two men, one in their 90s and the other in their 80s out of the money after duping the pensioners to allow him to invest the money.
He took on the two men as clients after the investment company he worked at previously closed.
He falsely told them he was authorised to make the transactions.
Last week Kimmence pleaded not guilty, however, on Monday morning he changed his plea.
In total, he pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud.
During the hearing, he was warned he now faces the real prospect of a jail sentence due to the nature of the offences – just weeks after he became a father for the first time with Dani.
Dani recently opened up on how she fears she suffered from postpartum depression after becoming a mum.
She got candid about being a new mum on her podcast, Sorted with the Dyers, alongside her dad, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, writes The Mirror.
She said: "The other day I was really struggling, I had a couple of days where I made a shepherd's pie but I just felt so down.
"And I think when you've just had a baby you really start worrying, thinking, 'Am I suffering with a bit of postnatal depression?"
