Former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa appeared on Loose Women today (May 4) to talk about the topic of male midwives and her pregnancy with her second child.
But before she got stuck into chatting with the panel, she wanted to address the tabloid reports that she and husband Dan Osborne are having relationship issues and are going to split up.
The star didn’t go into detail (it is her private life, after all) but seemed to admit the pair were having trouble, although not for the reasons being reported.
“I’m good, honestly I’m fine,” she said.
“I think, you know, when stuff goes on at home, it’s not normal to be everywhere, and it’s not necessarily true, or the reasons why you’re not getting on at the moment.”
She previously tweeted that there are “2 sides to every story” and the pair are “dealing with things” on their own.
Meanwhile, Osborne asked, “Why is it always the man that gets stick?”, and told the people giving him grief that they didn’t know him and they should “please piss off”.
In happier news this week, the British Soap Awards announced that Lauren (Jossa’s character) and Abi Branning’s dramatic rooftop fall on EastEnders had been nominated in the Scene of the Year category.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV from 12.30pm, while EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm.
