Gemma Collins looks very different as she flaunts dramatic hair transformation

Gemma Collins showed off her recent hair transformation just days after flaunting her weight loss in a pair of white jeans.

The TOWIE favourite, 39, who recently enjoyed a luxury holiday in Mykonos, took to Instagram on Friday to show off shorter locks following a trip to the hairdressers.

Known for her peroxide blonde extensions, the reality TV star decided to ditch her longer tresses in favour of a short, sassy bob.

Looking effortless and oozing confidence, Gemma turned up the heat when she posed in design from her collection, informing her following they're a "rare breed".

Resting her hand on her hip, she ran her fingers through her new barnet, that sat well above her shoulders, and added a pop of colour to her outfit thanks to the slick of vibrant red lipstick across her pout.

Wearing a dress featuring a plunging cleavage along with a flattering waistband, showing off her gorgeous curves, the Essex native left jaws on the floor when she posted the shot to the photo-sharing app.

She captioned the post: "You're a rare breed…. they are not supposed to understand you. Darlings make the most of the wonderful dresses in the collection, they are now in the sale so they are going going gone!"

And it wasn't long before Gemma was inundated with compliments about her haircut.

One wrote: "Love your short hair, much better without hair extensions."

"Love the short hair very classy,' another added.

The snap comes after Gemma claimed she believes in mermaids – and has a video to prove it.

Speaking on her BBC Sounds podcast, the Essex native insisted there is some kind of supernatural life underwater after unearthing information on the World Wide Web.

The ITV star said: "To back up my mermaid claim, I was watching something on the internet about mermaids.

"This mermaid come up on a submarine and the mermaids put their hands on the window."
