The ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ hitmaker also shares on Instagram a teaser clip for the music video, which will be released on Telemundo.
Jennifer Lopez surprised the crowd at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards when she took the stage to deliver her stunning performance. The songstress not only premiered her new song “El Anillo” at the award-giving show, but she also debuted a live performance of the track.
The performance started off with a slew of backup dancers showcasing their moves using neon hula hoops. The stage stage lighting then lit up to reveal Jenny, sporting a nude mini-dress and diamond accessories, sitting on a pink flower prop as she began singing the sensual song.
The song itself finds the “Ain’t Your Mama” hitmaker singing about her relationship with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. “You treat me like a princess and give me what I ask/ You have the bat and the strength I need,” she rhymes. “When we’re alone, I swear I don’t need anything else/ You get a 13 out of 10 when we’re in bed.”
Shortly after performing the song, Jenny took to her Instagram account to tease the music video for the track, announcing that the visuals would be released on Friday, April 27 on Telemundo. The teaser clip features her playing a queen as she heads to what seems like a gladiator fight.
Many of her fans soon flooded the comment section of the post with gushing comments, with one saying that the clip “looks like a movie.” Another fan echoed the remarks, “Is this a music video or a TV show? Either way it looks amazing but a telenovela would be amazing!”
It looks like the upcoming video won’t be the only visuals that Jenny will release. Previous report stated that the “Shades of Blue” star had called Versace to help her look sexy and stylish in the music video for “Se Acabo El Amor”. It remains to be seen when the clip will be released.
