JLS are officially getting back together after going their separate ways seven years ago.
The band, made up of Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold, confirmed their exciting news on this evening’s episode of The One Show in a pre-recorded video message.
‘We are back, we are back together,’ Marvin enthused. ‘We can’t wait to be back on tour at the end of the year.’
‘Yes, and we’re very excited to be on The One Show this Friday for a very exclusive performance of some of our hits,’ JB added.
Oritse smiled: ‘Looking forward to chatting with you then and seeing our fans on Friday.’
The group had been dropping hints left, right and centre that they could be reuniting this year to mark their 10 year anniversary, with JB teasing us all just days ago.
‘This year is a big year for us – our 10 year anniversary,’ he said to The Sun.
‘We are all very much in touch, we’re still brothers. We met up recently, a few weeks back, and we’ve always said when the time’s right we could do something, so a reunion… never say never.’
JLS shot to fame on the The X Factor way back when in 2008, where they finished in second place to series winner Alexandra Burke.
They sold over 2.3million albums in the UK and had huge hits, with their tracks Everybody In Love, The Club is Alive, Love You More and She Makes Me Wanna reaching number one in the charts.
They later split in 2013 after releasing a greatest hits album.
The One Show continues on Thursday at 7pm on BBC One.
