Love Island’s Caroline Flack has defended her new fiancé Andrew Brady – who you may know as “Andrew from series 13 of The Apprentice” or “Andrew from this year’s Celebrity Big Brother” – after only announcing their engagement over the weekend.
After dropping the news, the pair were met with mixed reactions, as some accused Andrew of being fame-hungry. Others were surprised as just one month ago, Caroline and Andrew were rumoured to have split.
Responding on Twitter, Caroline wrote: “I don’t like to speak up on things. But. He’s my boyfriend. And he’s lovely to me. He’s new to this world . No-one is perfect.”
She continued: “Give people a break… we all f**k up… all of us… people spend so much time over analysing things… let it be.”
“And while all you weirdos are taking time to write mean comments about someone you don’t know … I’ll get back to my love nest.”
Announcing their engagement, Caroline posted a snap of the two together, and wrote: “He’s put it on my finger and it won’t come off … so I’ve said yes #chooselove.”

She confirmed her romance with Andrew at the start of March, about a week or so after the pair were rumoured to be dating.
