Pregnant Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson confirms gender of ‘miracle’ baby

Former Coronation Street star Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed that she and her new boyfriend Lewis Devine are having a baby boy.

The 36-year-old split from Corrie Alan Halsall last year and they have both moved on since.

Lucy-Jo has described the pregnancy as a "miracle", admitting that it hadn't been planned.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: "I knew it was a boy from the start! I would have been so surprised if it wasn't.

"My bump is lower with this little one and everything has been so different, with cravings and morning sickness."

Lucy-Jo has a six-year-old daughter, Sienna-Rae, with her ex Alan Halsall, who is now dating fellow former Corrie co-star Tisha Merry.

Lewis will become a dad for the first time with the birth of his child with Lucy-Jo.

He told the publication: "I would have been happy either way but I'm very excited for a boy. It's a son to carry on the family name."

Back in August, the duo announced their happy news with a photo of a baby scan.

Lucy-Jo wrote: "This has been so hard to keep quiet but today was the day Lewis and I got to tell Sienna the best news!

"We are 13 weeks pregnant and so very excited to extend our little family. Sienna is so excited to be a big sister and Lew is ecstatic to become a daddy for the first time and I am so happy to be having another gorgeous baby! No other feeling like it."

Lucy-Jo and Alan split up in March 2016 but rekindled their marriage just a few months later, though have since gone their separate ways once more.
