Rick Ross is out and about after a brief hospital scare earlier this month.

Gucci Mane was seen hanging out with a recently released-from-hospital Rick Ross in several new photos posted to both their Instagram accounts over the weekend.

Standing outside what appears to be a Miami motel with a McLaren 720S parked in the lot, Rick Ross approaches Gucci Mane holding a styrofoam cup. “Ross I’m glad u Good Vato!” Gucci wrote in his post.

At the beginning of March, Rick Ross was rushed to hospital after being found in his Miami home unresponsive and foaming at the mouth. He was taken to two hospitals before he was placed on an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine (ECMO) which takes over the functions of both heart and lungs.

Maybach Music’s Fat Trel conformed that Ross was indeed in hospital but disputed reports that he was on life support. However, insiders with TMZ confirm that Ross’ condition was dire enough to warrant life support for several days.

After a four day stay, Rick Ross was released from the hospital and was receiving care in his home.

Early reports indicated it was a heart attack, but it’s also possible that Ross suffered from a particularly brutal seizure. Ross suffered two seizures in 2011, which inspired him to adopt a healthier lifestyle. He went on a health kick, cutting down on smoking and losing 90 pounds by 2014 from a healthier diet and regular workouts.

“I woke up from that and I was like, ‘Wow. I really need to reevaluate what I’m doing,’” Ross said in an interview with Sara Haines on Good Morning America.

Ross also posted to his own Instagram account writing, “Port of Miami II coming! #MMG,” implying a sequel to Gucci’s 2006 album Port of Miami.
