Mum left fuming after husband books 'cheap seats' for her and toddler in economy – but keeps himself in business | The Sun
A WOMAN has asked if she was in the wrong to be mad after her husband kept his own plane seat in business – but put her and their toddler in economy.
She explained on Mumsnet that she was joining him on a long-haul work trip but he promised to book them seats in premium economy.
She wrote: " I only agreed to go if my son & I flew premium economy as its a long way, I'll be on my own with toddler whilst he is in business class (work paid for his ticket).
"He said fine no problem, had lots of points to use. Booked the flights. Told me had booked premium.
"Six weeks later I discover he'd lied & basically booked the cheapest economy tickets available (no seat reservation option/upgrade option)."
She said she tried to change it with the airline but that they were fully booked, or quoted her £2,000 for an upgrade.
