SLEEP lovers can now get paid to test luxury beds at fancy hotels across the UK as part of a new scheme.
Linen brand Tielle Love Luxury are looking for one lucky sleep expert to spend the night at some of the best hotels in the country – with the first night at The Savoy.
The hotels range from five-star establishments to boutique destinations such as Artist Residence, with the brand providing sheets, blankets and dressing gowns to a number of hotels.
The successful applicant will be paid £200 per night, as well as have their travel expenses paid for.
Part of the role includes reporting back on their experience, including sleep quality and bed comfort, as well as how to improve.
Catherine Morris, managing director at Tielle Love Luxury explains: “As we started to think about our hotels reopening post lockdown, we spotted an opportunity to enhance the expertise within our team.
"Whilst my colleagues are the best in the business when it comes to linen, quality, responsible sourcing and all-round luxury, we realised that in order to maintain our expert position, we need to really understand what our guests are experiencing on a regular basis and that means walking in their shoes, or, more literally, sleeping in their beds!"
Alison Vernon, director of Rooms at the Savoy added that they expect to be "inundated with applications"
The job starts next year, but you have to apply by December 10, which you can do here, explaining why you are perfect for the role.
If you're an influencer with more than 5,000 followers, they are also offering other paid experiences.
Previous dream jobs include spa-testers, Wowcher holiday testers and Maldives book-sellers.
A holiday-loving couple transformed their house into a hotel during lockdown – from keycards and door signs to in-room menus and lighting.
Hotels are now offering a number of freebies and upgrades to guests who book, due to a plummet in tourism.
From free booze to a free suite upgrade, here are some of the hotels taking part.
