Boris Johnson's son celebrates his second birthday in style
Guess who… It’s Wilf! Boris Johnson’s son celebrates his second birthday in style as he plants a kiss on sister Romy and hides his blond locks underneath a pink bucket
- Photos of Wilfred Johnson, 2, were posted by mother Carrie on Instagram
- Birthday pictures show her cuddling him as baby and looking through window
- One photo also shows him giving his baby sister Romy a kiss under a tree
With a pink bucket over his head and shoulders, it might be hard to tell who he is.
But once the mop of blond hair comes out, this little toddler is instantly recognisable as his father Boris Johnson’s son.
These photos of Wilfred Johnson were posted by his mother Carrie on Instagram to mark his second birthday yesterday.
Taken on various occasions, one shows her cuddling him as baby, while in another when he is bigger he peers through a window in a jumper with his name on his back.
One photo also shows him giving his baby sister Romy, now nearly five months old, a kiss under a tree.
In an accompanying post, the Prime Minister’s wife, 34, told how Wilfred loves cars and animals, especially the family’s Jack Russell-cross Dilyn.

She wrote: ‘I can’t believe Wilf is 2! My cheeky cherub. You are the most loving, hilarious little boy who makes us laugh every single day.
‘You are still totally car obsessed (“car car”) and love all animals, particularly “dorrrgs”. You love being outside, especially if there are muddy puddles to splash in, and Dilyn (“Dil Dil”) is there to chase.
‘You’re brave and affectionate and you give the best hugs. Thank you for making life so much better.’
She ended her post with a heart emoji. Wilf – or Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson in full – was named after Mr and Mrs Johnson’s grandfathers and partly in tribute to two doctors, Nick Hart and Nick Price, who helped save Mr Johnson’s life when he was in hospital with Covid in 2020.
