CANDACE Owens has accused "pea-brained" LeBron James of fueling the hatred which led to the shooting of two sheriffs in Los Angeles.
The controversial right wing author and activist said the basketball legend must shoulder some of the blame for Saturday's shocking ambush.
Terrifying video has emerged showing a man repeatedly shooting at the two officers on the streets of Compton on Saturday.
He was seen opening fire on the passenger side of their patrol car, leaving both the male and female officer with critical head wounds.
In the wake of the double shooting, Owens told her 2.6 million Twitter followers who she believed was to blame.
"Why does this happen? Because pea-brained celebrities that are idolized like @KingJames tell young black men that they are 'literally being hunted'," she wrote, a reference to a May 6 tweet James made about the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
"This is the natural result of such hyperbolic, dishonest rhetoric. The racist, anti-police, black lives matter LIE is to blame," she added.
James – who has 47.3 million followers on Twitter – has not yet responded to her tweet.
Once an unknown political vlogger, Owens has quickly become one of Donald Trump's most prominent cheerleaders.
She has endeared herself to the president by attacking anyone who dares to criticize or mock him and is no stranger to controversy.
In late 2018, she launched the Blexit movement, a social media campaign to encourage African Americans, as well as Latinos and other minorities, to leave the Democrats and register as Republican voters.
Last night, Owens doubled down on her attack on James during an interview with Fox New's Life, Liberty & Levin.
She noted the Los Angeles Lakers superstar – who has spoken out about his "tough" life as a Black man in America – "lives in a one hundred million dollar mansion in Bel Air."
"I always say, if you're suffering through racism, please give me some of that," she told Mark Levin.
"He's got a White gardener, a White chef, all various White people that work for him, White driver," she continued.
"So if that's racism, LeBron, please, please share some of that with the rest of us."
On Sunday, we reported how a group of "BLM protesters" apparently tried to block a hospital entrance where the shot cops were being cared for.
The alleged activists attempted to block the entrance to a hospital in Los Angeles, according to disturbing videos that emerged on Twitter.
The reports come amid claims the movement – which sprung up to protest police brutality against black people – has been hijacked by extremists.
Organizers say the movement's mission is to "eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities".
The two deputies shot at the weekend were rushed to St. Francis hospital to undergo emergency surgery – but the male suspect remains at large.
They are now out of surgery, in a stable condition and are expected to survive.
At the weekend Sheriff Alex Villanueva called the condition of the deputies a “double miracle.”
President Trump has now demanded a "fast trial and death penalty" for the gunman responsible for the outrageous attack.
And Los Angeles Police Department has also offered up a $100,000 reward for information on the shooter.
Local law enforcement officers earlier took to social media to express their anger and disgust over the shooting.
“I hope this monster is caught soon,” LAPD Capt. Gisselle Espinoza tweeted.
“I’m sick to my stomach. The deputies are in my prayers. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.”
