Child 'killed & more wounded after Putin's forces attack children's hospital'

A CHILD was killed as Russian artillery fire rained down on a Ukrainian children’s hospital yesterday, local media reported.

Two more kids were wounded in the blast which hit the National Children’s Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt, according to the Kyiv Independent.

A further two adults were also reportedly wounded in the attack.

It comes after an oncology centre used to help people with cancer was left in flames after Russian forces opened fire in Melitopol on Friday.

Extremely heavy air raids were expected in Kyiv around 9pm last night as Russian airdrops filled the skies.

Kyiv central railway station was also in blackout due to continued hostilities.

The bloody Battle of Kyiv was said to have claimed the lives of 14 Ukrainian military service members and home guards and six civilians – injuring a further 71 so far.
