Denver weather: Smoky and cool with temperatures in the 60s Monday

Denver’s staying smoky and cool for another day.

While sunny skies are in the forecast, the temperature will rise to just 62 degrees in the metro area, according to the National Weather Service. It is expected to be smoky from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and winds may gust up to 18 mph.

There will be a low of 43 in the evening with light winds between 5 to 8 mph.

It will warm up to 77 degrees on Tuesday with possible wind gusts up to 15 mph. The evening’s low is expected to be 47.

Sunny skies are expected through the week with highs of 77, 69 and 75 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, respectively. The lows will be in the mid 40s.
