A fed-up father has created a fake speed camera van to slow down motorists on a 30mph near his home.
Rob Adcock lives on a 30mph road in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire and decided to try and make it a safer place for his four-year-old daughter Orla and other people on the road.
He took to the road last Wednesday with a van kitted out to look like it housed a speed camera and spent an hour and a half watching motorists
In a video uploaded a video to TikTok he shows the van he made to look like it housed a speed camera and it has already been viewed 899,000 times.

Mr Adcock then shows him designing a large poster to stick to the back of the van which reads: ‘Speed camera’ and has a picture of a speed camera
Footage shows him walking up to his van saying: ‘I made a fake speed camera van to make n******s slow down where I live.’
Mr Adcock says: ‘So I live on this road and it’s meant to be a 30 but there’s always some muppet like this d*** here flying past.’
The footage then cuts to a crashed car in his front garden as Mr Adcock explains that a car driving too fast ended up ploughing into his front garden in the past.
He then films his daughter Orla as she gets involved and starts shouting: ‘Slow down! It’s 30 for a reason!’ at passing cars.

He puts the sign on the van as well as some reflective striped stickers and sits in the van wearing a high-vis jacket.
Footage then shows vehicles driving quickly down the hill until they pass Mr Adcock’s van and they begin to slow down, to the delight of Mr Adcock.
Mr Adcock said: ‘Whenever Orla asks to go on a walk or to the wood, you’re thinking at the back of your mind ”what am I going to do if a car comes flying down the hill?”

‘If you have children, just think what it must be like when they ask you to go to the park, you’re thinking ”are they going to get there in one piece?!”
‘Staffordshire Moorlands District Council have done things to try and slow the road down but the people who live around here want there to be more done. They’ve been campaigning to get further traffic calming measures for a while now. Let’s hope this helps.
‘There are two large schools at the bottom of the hill and quite a few blind bends. There isn’t a proper crossing yet. When you drive along you see the kids and you think it’s an accident waiting to happen.’
He added that although there’s been a mixed reaction to his antics on TikTok: ‘The way I see it as long as it keeps people safe I can cope with people calling me a d***.’
