A man has been caught allegedly stealing from graves red-handed.
Footage has emerged showing a woman confronting a man as he appears to sift through burial plots in a cemetery.
The distressing footage shows a woman, 19-year-old Shelbyleigh Francis, taking the man on at Shiregreen Cemetry in Sheffield.

The Daily Star can reveal that Shelbyleigh scooped up her dog and took the man on during the alleged incident on August 13 between 8pm and 9pm.
She told the Star she was taking a stroll with her pooch alongside the graveyard between it and the nearby golf course when she heard what sounded like “tins rattling” and the sound of “movements”.
Peering through the fence to take a closer look she saw the accused stooped over the graves.
“There he was with a big hold [all] bag [and he was] filling it with whatever he could off the graves.
“I’ve pulled my phone out of my pocket and started recording and then he [saw] me and started jogging up the graveyard fast.”
She said at that point, “I’ve put my phone away picked my dog up and had to climb over the fence with my dog secured inside of my coat, as I jumped over I ran in the direction he went but no sign – until I heard stones moving around and I [saw] him again.”
She reproduced her phone, “and started recording but this time his bag had disappeared and he was trying to put things down his trousers and into his pockets.
“I gave him more than a mouth full as I thought what he was doing was very disturbing and out of order.
"He then tried to claim that his daughter had died the day before – bearing mind I know his daughter and know she obviously isn’t dead so that got me even more angry that he tried to tell such a [clear] lie.”
Raging, Shelbyleigh explained she made the man put the items “back on the graves and then the video cut off and he noticed me put my phone away.
“He’s started jogging towards a big gap in the bushes which leads into Concord Leisure Centre car park.”
She gave chase before the pair had a physical confrontation over the bag and the man ran off.
She said she left the bag by the “entrance of the graveyard for the staff to find in the morning”.
Later a second woman, who claimed to have family laid to rest at the cemetery, wrote on Facebook that she had collected the bag and handed it to the staff at the cemetery and encouraged anyone missing items to check in with them.
The Daily Star has contacted Sheffield City Council for comment.
