A Hong Kong beverage heiress is the buyer of Sting’s magnificent duplex penthouse with sweeping views of Central Park in New York City.
Karen Lo purchased the 5,400-square-foot unit from the 65-year-old iconic rocker for $50 million in a deal that closed in April, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The sale gives Sting, 65, and move producer wife Trudie, 64, an excellent return on their investment, as they originally purchased the massive duplex for $26.98 million in 2008.
The couple have added several luxurious updates including adding two sculptured spiral staircases in the pad which has with city views of the city skyline and Central Park. They originally listed the home for $56million in May of 2017.

Lo has snapped up several high-priced American homes to flip including a huge Chelsea condo that was originally two units she consolidated, for $36.5 million at $4,371 per foot in March, according to The Real Deal.
The heiress, whose family founded Vitasoy, also purchased a Malibu compound last year for an eye-watering $69.9 million.
With the property sold, Sting and Trudie are reportedly looking into buying a place at the 220 Central Park South, which is nicknamed ‘billionaires’ bunker’ and won’t be available until next year.
The amorous couple, who have boasted about their tantric-sex life, have been together for 35 years and married for 25.
They were looking to double their investment in the prestigious property.
The pair brought in custom designers to improve the flow between the previously two separate apartments and create a reflection of their own tastes and desires.

In addition to the master suite, which takes up the bulk of the second level, the home has two guest bedrooms, two bathrooms and two partial baths.
There is an all-white chef’s catering kitchen with two fridges, four ovens and three dishwashers for when the couple entertain their circle of equally famous friends.
For relaxation, there is a sauna and steam room and a 400 foot terrace with outdoor heating and canopy shade.

The NY Post estimates maintenance on the duplex cost Sting and Trudie more than $10,000 a month.
Past famous residents of the property include the likes of Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro and Alex Rodriguez.
The new homes they are scouting inside 220 Central Park South are in the newest building constructed by the owners of 15 Central Park West which features similar upscale amenities and was purchased by hedge fund manager Ken Griffin.
