On Wednesday morning former US President Donald Trump left the White House before Joe Biden was sworn in. Mr Trump flew straight to Florida from Washington, refusing to attend President Biden’s inauguration ceremony.
He is the first US president to snub a successor’s inauguration since 1869.
Mr Trump’s family watched on as their father set off to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the former First Daughter Ivanka and her husband have signed a deal to lease a condominium in Arte, Florida.
The impressive pyramid-shaped building is considered one of the most luxurious new oceanfront properties in Miami’s Surfside neighbourhood.

It is also one of the local area’s priciest developments.
A penthouse in the building recently sold to a New York private-equity executive for $33 million (£24 million), The Wall Street Journal reported.
One of the buildings developers is thought to have links to Mr Trump.
Alex Sapir is head of Sapir Organisation which teamed up with the Trump Organisation to build the Trump SoHo condo-hotel in New York before the financial crisis in 2008.
A person familiar with Ivanka and Jared’s deal told The Wall Street Journal that the couple signed a deal to lease a large, unfurnished unit in the development for at least a year.
The condo in Miami has lots of amenities including a private rooftop tennis court, 75-foot heated indoor lap pool, a resident’s lounge, fitness centre and children’s playroom.
The deal is thought to be temporary while Ivanka and Jared build a house on a lot they purchased on Miami’s Indian Creek Island for $32 million (£23 million).
During Mr Trump’s presidency, Ivanka and Jared rented a high-end property in the Kalorama area of Washington, DC, according to reports.

Reports of their new Miami condo deal come as Mr Trump left office on Wednesday before President Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris were sworn in.
Mr Trump arrived in Florida greeted by supporters who waved and held placards including one which said: “Still my president.”
Before boarding the Air Force One plane, Mr Trump thanked his family.
Speaking to a small crowd, Mr Trump said it had been “an incredible” four years in office.
He added: “It has been my greatest honour and privilege to have been your president.”
Despite refusing to attend President Biden’s inauguration, Mr Trump wished the new administration “great luck and great success”.
But he added: “We will be back in some form.”
AP reported that television coverage of the inauguration was playing on the plane during Mr Trump’s flight.
Mr Trump is only the fourth President in US history to have skipped his successor’s inauguration.
Melania Trump also spoke briefly to the crowd before boarding the plane to Florida.
She said: “Being your First Lady was my greatest honour.”
