A JUST Eat delivery rider was stabbed by a gang of teens who tried to steal his bike last night as police launched a manhunt for the attackers.
Cops rushed to the scene in Kingstanding, Birmingham, at 6pm last night to reports of a stabbing – and a man was rushed to hospital with injuries.
The victim was treated at the scene for injuries – before being rushed to hospital with stab wounds, which aren't thought to be life-threatening.
Forensic teams were seen inspecting an electric bike with a Just Eat delivery bag still attached to the back.
The area of Sidcup Road was cordoned off last night as emergency services swooped the scene.
It's believed a gang of four boys tried to take the delivery rider's bike – before stabbing him and fleeing the area on two motorbikes.
West Midlands Police told The Sun Online: "We're investigating after a delivery rider was stabbed in Sidcup Road, Kingstanding, Birmingham, just after 6pm yesterday (Wednesday).
"We understand the man in his 30s was approached by a group of about four boys who tried to take the bike he was on.

"He suffered a stab wound and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his physical injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"We understand the offenders left the scene on two motorbikes and without the bike.
"Witnesses are being spoken with and CCTV is being retrieved and reviewed as our enquiries continue."
Detective Sergeant Curt Wilkins, of Force CID, said: “We’re at the early stages of our enquiries and work is on-going to identify the offenders.
“We’d ask anyone who was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage to get in contact with us. And any witnesses who may have information and haven’t yet spoken with officers should also get in touch.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service said in a statement: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Sidcup Road at 6.04pm, one ambulance, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and two Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Cars attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one male patient who was treated for serious injuries and taken to hospital.
"The doctor travelled with the patient to help continue treatment en route to hospital."
