Kate Middleton’s ‘priorities’ are ‘really quite off’, fumes royal critic
Kate Middleton's "priorities are really quite off" following a royal no-show on Monday (March 13), according to a royal expert.
Senior royals, including the Princess of Wales, all gathered at Westminster Abbey for the first Commonwealth Day service of King Charles' reign.
Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Princess Anne, her husband Sir Tim Laurence, Prince William and Prince Edward all headed back to Buckingham Palace for the Commonwealth reception following the service.

Kate was "conspicuously absent" according to Daniela Elser, writing for news.com.au, especially given that her name was in a press release announcing who would be there.
Elser writes that the "current theories" are that the press release was an error, or that Kate went to pick her kids up from school – although she isn't sure about either.
The royal commentator doubts the Palace press machine would make such an error.
She went on: "Secondly, the Waleses have a nanny, aides, and probably more staff than a Fiji-bound P&O cruise ship, not to mention that her parents live nearby to their home, Adelaide Cottage.
"Someone else could clearly have picked up Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and their piles of maths homework."
Elser noted how the event was Charles' first major Commonwealth occasion as King and, given the difficulties the Commonwealth has faced in recent years, a crucial time to show face.
She wrote: "Sure, Kate’s desire to perpetually do the school run is admirable and all, but that does not change the fact that her priorities in this instance are really quite off."
