A luxury highchair for babies is being recalled as the legs keep breaking off.

Koo-di are advising parents to stop using the Duo Wooden Highchair immediately as it can cause danger to the child.

It is currently on sale in Argos for £79.99 and in Jojo Maman Bébé for £129.

Affected batches have the code KD430/02-3AH-SS on the bottom of the chair

Plastic on the chair at the point where the wooden legs screw into the base can crack cause the legs to snap off.

There have been four reported incidents of legs snapping off, although it is unclear if children were hurt or not.

Affected batches have the code KD430/02-3AH-SS on the bottom of the chair and were sold between July 2017 and April 2018.

Customers with affected chairs are asked to call 01384298531 to speak to the manufacturers and discover if the chair is faulty.

Koo-di have said all those with affected chairs will get a refund or an exchange.

This is the only wooden highchair made by the manufacturer that’s affected.
