Naked ramblers called “Stark Trekkers” are braving the cold and going on nude rambles.
Despite forecasters predicting plunging temperatures this week, the group are still boldly going into woods and fields.
They have planned a series of walks this month – many several miles long – which end in trips to pubs or cafés.

Their website says: “The objective of this club is to organise and lead walks along, mostly, public rights of way in quiet countryside for naturists who enjoy walking in the countryside.”
Membership is open to all naturists of any gender who are 18 or over, and who agree to abide by the Naturist Ramblers Constitution.
It adds: “The walks are planned to take place in fairly uninhabited parts of the countryside to minimise the chance of meeting clothed walkers.
Naturist Ramblers organise both longer and shorter walks. The longer walks are referred to as ‘Nat Ram’ walks and the shorter walks are referred to as ‘Stark Trekkers’ walks.
“Nat Ram walks generally start from a pub at about midday and are between 10 and 14 miles in length.

“On these walks we usually conclude our day with supper together in the pub.
“The shorter Stark Trekkers walks offer monthly walks throughout the year in Kent and Sussex. They are about half the length of Nat Ram walks. They finish mid-afternoon with a visit to a local tea shop.”
The group said that nude rambling was deemed to be a lawful activity – but added that they cover up when close to a property, along public roads or anywhere near children.
Those who are interested in joining the walks are advised to bring suitable walking shoes, a rucksack for your clothes, a picnic lunch, a hat, insect repellent, sun block cream and hiking poles.
