The neighbor of a young married couple found murdered inside their home is wanted for questioning, officials said.
Tyler Roy, 28, and Christina Roy, 27, were discovered slain Tuesday morning at their residence in Churchville, Pennsylvania, by a painter, news station KYW-TV reported.
Authorities haven’t released how the pair was killed but announced Wednesday that 26-year-old Daniel Mooney is a person of interest.
Mooney, who lived in the same neighborhood, is not believed to have had a prior relationship with the victims.
The couple’s Ford Edge SUV, which was taken from the home, was recovered Wednesday in Philadelphia along with Mooney’s cell phone, news station WCAU reported.
Police said they are searching for Mooney, who may be walking with a “pronounced limp.” There is an active warrant for his arrest in an unrelated car theft.
