Victoria’s coronavirus restrictions will ease once again on Friday, with masks no longer required in retail settings and new caps for public and private gatherings.
From 6pm on March 26, Victorians will be able to have up to 100 people visit their home per day, up from the previous cap of 30 people.

Public gatherings will increase from 100 to 200 people.
Masks will no longer be required in retail settings, but will still be needed on public transport, in taxis and rideshare vehicles. They will also still be needed at hospitals and in aged care settings.
Indoor non-seated entertainment venues will increase from 50 per cent capacity to 75 per cent capacity, with a limit of 1000 people still in place. There will no longer be caps on how many people can be on a dancefloor, subject to density rules.
A flexible work plan for public servants will see them returning to their offices for at least three days a week.
More to come.
