A new collection of some of America’s most memorable mugshots has been compiled. 

Among the snaps are some very poorly maintained teeth, questionable hairstyles and ill-advised poses.

One man who features, Alan Dale Lee, was held on drugs charges – and subsequently nicknamed ‘Dracula’ by cops in Florida because of his strange three-tooth smile. 

Another shot shows Michael Whitington looking unusually happy considering he had just been arrested for robbing a bank in Denver.

Noel D Dawson Jr, meanwhile, pulled an indecipherably odd face after being arrested on charges of chasing a family member with a hatchet in Toledo, Ohio.

City of Moulton Police Department in Alabama released this image but could not find the photographed man’s name or alleged crime. A cop decided to upload it as a joke


The identities of these two individuals remain a mystery. But they go together like yin and yang – with the man on right apparently delighted with proceedings and the woman on the left not overly pleased

This gentleman has a winning smile, memorable eyes and fascinating ears – it’s just a shame he was being photographed by cops

While many people might have thought the mullet had gone completely out of fashion, that is not quite true

Michael Shoemaker was arrested in Glade Valley, Maryland after being accused of shooting at his son 


The man on the left was arrested in Arizona for a failure to pay fines. He was photographed sticking his tongue out at Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The gentleman on the right, meanwhile, is sporting a superlative mullet 

Luther Smith, was arrested in Florida for aggravated battery and sports a light wispy moustache


The individual on the right seems to have proved to everyone why he always wears his cap. The man on the left has certainly seen better days

James Owings, pictured, was arrested in Oregon for driving with a suspended license

Homeless man Ray Comer was accused of strangling his pet dachshund in South Daytona, Florida, in 2015


These two gentleman have at least two things in common: They were both were arrested by cops, and they have both have utterly bizarre hair 

This bearded fellow decided to draw attention to his eyes in this spooky mugshot 

No, not Medusa. Just a man with exceedingly messy hair being photographed by cops after his arrest 

Floyd Bebee, from Florida, was arrested and later convicted for burglary and theft. He was added to the mugshot hall of fame because of his ‘Git-R-Dun’ tattoo on his forehead


The man on the left is sporting perhaps the most elegant grey mullet ever caught on camera. The woman on the right, however, has less than superb locks
