A TEENAGER died after being punched while trying to protect his friends from thugs.
Ollie Blatcher, 18, confronted a pair of passing drunks throwing beer cans in the street.
One pal said: “One of them just punched Ollie really hard in the face.

“He was only punched once and said he was fine but that he had a really bad headache.”
Labourer Ollie had a gash on his temple but he collapsed at his girlfriend’s house later and died after being rushed to hospital in Portsmouth.
Police launched a murder inquiry and two men aged 32 and 28 were arrested and released.
A post mortem examination has been carried out, however the findings were inconclusive. Further tests will be carried out.
