Teenage boy is rushed to hospital after being stabbed in brutal daylight attack in south London

  • Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to scene after boy was stabbed 
  • Victim taken to hospital for treatment and his condition is currently unknown
  • No arrests have been made and the area is cordoned off, Met Police confirmed

A teenage boy has been stabbed in a brutal daylight attack in south London.

Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene after the boy – in his mid-teens – was stabbed in Camberwell this evening. 

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and his condition is currently unknown. 

No arrests have been made and the area is cordoned off.

A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at approximately 18:40hrs on Tuesday, 26 May to reports of a male found suffering a stab wound in Albany Road, SE5.

‘Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene. The male – believed aged in his mid-teens – was taken to hospital for treatment; condition awaits.

‘No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

‘A crime scene remains in place at the location.’

Earlier today, another boy in his early teens was stabbed in Waltham Forest in east London.

Met Police were called at 2.50pm. London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance were rushed to the scene. 

So far no arrests have been made and the boy’s condition is not life threatening.
