The warning is in place from 12 am to 12 pm on Wednesday and the Met Office has said that flying debris caused by the winds could cause injuries and danger to life. A yellow wind warning is in place for northern parts of Scotland. The strongest winds will be from a westerly or southwesterly direction and could reach up to 90mph in some locations.
