Wagner boss Prigozhin had ‘nothing to lose’ after cancer so launched Russia coup

Wagner Group Boss Yevgeny Prigozhin might have made the shock call to stage a coup against ex-pal Vladimir Putin due to health reasons.

Insiders reckon, the warlord fighting stomach cancer left the him with "nothing to lose" by taking on the Russian state.

The Wagner warlord had "years of intensive therapy" that could have contributed to his decision to go to against the government, according to the Sun.

Known as “Putin’s Chef”, it is said he “went nuts” after a Russian missile hit a Wagner camp near the war-torn Ukrainian city of Bakhmut and claimed the lives of dozens of his troops.

A former Wagner solider told the outlet: “This is a man with a cut-out stomach and intestines!”

Following the failed coup, Russian authorities raided his properties, including his mansion in St Petersburg, where it is alleged that documents relating to his health were found.

Information on the treatments used was also uncovered, along with guns, gold, cash and disguises.

One revelation from the raid that has shocked the world is a cache of images purportedly showing the mercenary chief in a number of disguises using the wigs and other costume pieces.

While this hasn't yet been verified and consideration of photo manipulation remains, it shows him posing for selfies in a number of different disguises, many of which are hard not to chuckle at.
