Enthusiastic drinkers sparked alarm in Cardiff on Friday night when footage emerged of hundreds of eager revellers queuing up closely for access to a bar.
Footage shared online showed large numbers of punters standing shoulder to shoulder as they waited to gain access to Coyote Ugly in St Mary Street as the weekend began.
Local DJ, Ian Cottrell, looked on in horror – and whipped out his phone to film the scenes – as he witnessed the queuing system that appeared to show no attempt being made to socially distance those waiting to get in to the established despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Many other venues in the Welsh capital have been seen to encourage social distance measures – leaving the music lover outraged as the venue he normally performs in himself, Clwb Ifor Bac, has not yet been allowed to reopen amid easing lockdown measure.
